It's that time of the month. I don't know about anybody else but here lately I am not on schedule at all. I used to be every 28 days perfect down to the hour, now it's anyone's guess. And the longer it seems to wait to start, the worse off I am. I always wonder "what if I am pregnant"...Hubby's response..."something has to have gotten you there in order for you to be". I think that's his nice attempt to say that it's not going on enough for him. Tough, I say!
I enlisted the aid of an old friend last night....He's ratty and old, I know older then I. But no one is none the wiser at how to ease my aches and pains. After I took my shower and popped a couple of Motrin, I grabbed him out of the back of the closet and went to bed! I had been doing some work before hand but with the way the pain was going, I just couldn't manage. So as I laid there and turned it on and curled up in a knot, the heat began to ease the pains and I started to feel at ease. Waking up to Kayla's bedside lamp was the next thing I remembered.
I got up to see what was going on. She said that she had a bad dream, "the worst ever". I told her it was ok. She then ask if aliens were real!! Wow, what a dream...I assured her they were not except for ET. (jokingly of course) She sat up bright eyed and bushy taled demanding to know what or who ET was. She has seen this movie years ago, aparently she has forgotten. So, I told her that I had been kidding and that no there was no such thing at all. She said ok. We said a quick prayer and off to sleep she went. I however headed back to bed. Zack was snoring at the moment so I told him to roll over. I can stay asleep once he's snoring but I can't get back to sleep.
So, I woke up this morning, praying that Kelsie wouldn't get up yet. I really just wanted to go and lay back down with my old friend and curl up for some soothing. Not gonna happen. With a two and a half year old you never know what the day will bring. Kelsie got up before I was even able to get into Kayla's room to get her up. Boo Hoo!!!! I told her to go and lay back down, she turned around, shut the door and didn't hear anything else outta her until....I had just gotten Zack's lunch packed and Kayla's hair was done. This was when I normally if she had still been asleep I would have went back to bed. She popped her head out from around the hall door. I walked towards her, she ran back to her room. (silly girl) I went in and got her changed into some panties and now we are up ready to face the day.
Oh, I hope this Motrin kicks in soon!
